Sewing class

"History You Can Wear"
The sewing classes for those who want to learn how to make their own historical clothing. In just two to four classes, you can make your own corset- bodice- tunic- bustle- hat- and more!
These classes are perfect for re-enactors, goths, steampunks, historians, cosplayers, fashion students, and anyone who loves the fashions of the past.
No sewing experience necessary. Materials and patterns provided.

Embroidery class will be also available. (Appointment necessary)

Instructor

Jean Dewe & Katherine Bramley

Our sewing mistress and Jean Dewe have years of experience making period-perfect costume reproductions. They will teach you how to make the sort of clothing you can't find on the shelves. Best of all, because it's made by you for you, your new clothing will be perfectly tailored to your body!

Restrictions

In order to attend the class for no extra charge, students must reserve a space for each class at least 2 days before the class. If no one reserves the class, then the class may be canceled. If one person reserves, there will be a class. The class size limit for most sewing classes is 6 students.
